Jedson Tavernier

Jedson is a Canadian creator and host who brings a youthful vigor and sharp wit to the media landscape.  His journey to prominence began on the basketball court, where he honed his skills as an athlete for the Western Mustangs at the University of Western Ontario. This background instilled in him a discipline and competitive spirit that he now channels into his media career.

Jedson first captured national attention as a charismatic contestant on the ninth season of Big Brother Canada in 2021. His authentic charm and strategic gameplay made him a fan favorite.

Transitioning seamlessly into broadcast journalism, he joined  Entertainment Tonight Canada team in 2022. During his tenure, he proved to be an insightful and engaging reporter, contributing significantly to the show until its conclusion in the fall of 2023. 

His exceptional talent was recognized with a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Host, Talk Show or Entertainment News at the 12th Canadian Screen Awards in 2024. He shared this nomination with esteemed colleagues, a testament to his growing influence in the industry.
